QRG - Sending an eSign Request
The purpose of
eSign is to solicit, gather, and return electronic signatures on documents. There
are three ways in which eSign can be used in Ntracts:
1) Within
a workflow where the document will be saved to a contract
record
2) Standalone
document (eSign Workflow in the Start menu) that is not associated with
a contract request or contract record
3) Document
(started from gear icon in Contracts app) that is associated to a contract
record
The process
begins with creating the eSign envelope by selecting the document(s) and signatories.
The eSign request is delivered via email address. Once all signatures are collected, the
originator and signatories will receive an email that includes a link to the
signed document(s).
eSign Note: Configuration selections and
vendor updates may cause slight variations in the screens and options displayed
in this guide.
